Javadekar made the remarks on the concluding day of the two-day National Workshop'Chintan Shivir', which was organised by Department of School education and Literacy, and Ministry of Human Resource Development.

HYDERABAD: Government high schools in Telangana will soon have digital classrooms. The state government has decided to install computers and projectors in over 6,000 schools.
The decision was taken at a review meeting held by deputy chief minister and education minister Kadiyam Srihari on 22.08.2016 Monday. The meeting on Telangana State Computer Literacy and Skills in Schools (TS-CLASS) at the minister's chambers was attended by officials from the school education department.

The Minister inaugurated digital classrooms arranged in 19 government high schools in Parchur constituency from the venue at Zilla Parishad High School in Martur on 12.08.2017 Friday. He said that all 3920 government schools in the district will be provided complete infrastructure in a year. “As the Prakasam district does not have a university, we are planning to start one in the district and complete the construction of IIIT soon” he added.
